Experienced Juniors

The challenge of golf is fun for almost everyone, but to a good portion of the golfing community, golf becomes much more than just a casual endeavor for enjoyment. It becomes a passionate pursuit to accomplish a goal. Those golfers that get serious about becoming good at the game are thought to have caught “The Golfing Bug.” Their passion for golf consumes them to want to practice, take lessons, and play as often as they can. This is a great thing! Nothing is better for a child than to develop an enthusiasm for an activity and a desire to perfect it. I have developed the Experienced Afterschool Program precisely for these children.

A number of criteria must be included in a program for a golfer to excel at golf and the Experienced Afterschool Program was designed to include each one. These criteria are:

I. Proper individual instruction with a professional. (Private lessons)

“ Golf is a very technical game and it can not be learned properly without instruction. It’s no different than trying to learn a martial art or musical instrument. I couldn’t image anyone trying to learn karate without taking professional instruction. The same should be thought of with golf.”
– Mike Reilly, PGA

II. Regularly supervised practice. (Group instruction)

“ To speed up the improvement process in golf, a student’s practice sessions must be monitored regularly by an expert. This is to insure that the student is following the instruction learned in the private lessons and to avoid a return to bad form.” – MR

III. An opportunity to play golf often. (Playing the Course)

“ There is no substitute to playing the golf course. Learning each individual skill required for good golf is essential but it’s on the golf course where all of those skills have to come together as one. You can only learn how to play golf by playing golf.” – MR

The Experienced Afterschool Program meets all of these criteria. The program consists of:

Eight, 1 hour private golf lessons. (One per week)
Free week day play on the golf course starting two hours prior to sunset.
Cost of the Experienced After school Program – $795
” I have learned that very few golfers in our area get a chance to excel at golf because they lack the necessary facilities and instruction at an affordable price. I think that this program gives all juniors a chance to pursue their passion for golf.”
– MR
