“You’ve got to start somewhere” as the expression goes and golf certainly is no exception. When learning any activity as a child (or adult), you have to start at the beginning and it can be intimidating to try new things. At the Mike Reilly Golf Academy we understand this and through the experience of teaching over a thousand young golfers since 2003, we have devised a beginner program that introduces children to golf in a fun and friendly way. By grouping children of a similar level together, we can take it slow and keep the expectations low.
Long Island Golf Camps provides after school golf coaching for children of different skill levels. Our coaching program is made to give students with personalized teaching and practice in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
On the course, students can also practice their games and compete in fun challenges and competitions. After school golf coaching can be tailored to each individual’s needs, allowing for more progress in a shorter time than traditional classes or private lessons.
As with all of our Junior Golf Programs, the Novice After School Program incorporates group instruction with private lessons.
Program Details:
| Six – 1 Hour Group Sessions |
| Classes are given on either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday |
| From either 4-5pm or 5-6pm |
| Choose a day and time and that will be the golfers group class for 6 weeks |
| Two – Half Hour Private Lessons |
| With Mike Reilly or a trained staff professional |
| Scheduled at your convenience on weekends, afterschool, or holidays |
| The cost of the Novice Afterschool Program is $375 |
