In Loving Memory of Coach Shayne White:
We remember and honor the life of Coach Shayne White, a golf instructor at Mike Reilly’s golf camp for
5 years, whose passion, dedication, and wisdom left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of
learning from him. More than just a teacher, Coach White was a mentor, a guide, and a friend to many,
sharing not only the art of golf but the invaluable lessons of patience, discipline, and perseverance.
For years, Coach White devoted himself to helping others improve, not just their swing, but their
understanding and love of the game. His patience was endless, his encouragement boundless. Every
lesson was an opportunity to instill confidence, not only in golf, but in life itself. It wasn't just about
perfecting the technique; it was about finding joy in the process and understanding that growth
happens with every swing.
The impact of Coach White is measured in the players who became better not just as golfers, but as
people because of his guidance. He had the ability to see potential in every individual and help bring
that potential to light, regardless of age, skill level, or background.
Though Coach White is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the games played in his honor, in the
stories shared, and in the memories of the lessons learned under his watchful eye.
